Board Members

The Central Colorado Water Conservancy District, Groundwater Management Subdistrict, and Well Augmentation Subdistrict are governed by a 15–member Board of Directors. Directors must reside and own real property within the District boundaries.  The Board of Directors appoints its own officers and Subdistrict committees.

Committee Meetings for the Board of Directors are monthly on the first consecutive Tuesday and Wednesday of the month. Board Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month. The Board Meeting begins at 10:00 a.m., is open to the public, and takes place at Central’s office at 3209 W. 28th Street in Greeley, CO.

Directors of the 15-member Central Colorado Water Conservancy District, Groundwater Management Subdistrict, and Well Augmentation Subdistrict Boards are appointed by district court judges for four-year terms.

To be considered for a director vacancy, an individual must:  

  • Have resided within Central’s boundaries for at least one year 
  • Be the owner of real property within the District boundaries in Adams, Morgan, or Weld County
  • Be knowledgeable in water matters
