District Committee Meeting Meeting

The meeting of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District Committee was called to order at 11:08 A.M. on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 by Chairman Don Rosenbrock at the office of the Central Colorado Water Conservancy District located at 3209 W. 28th Street, Greeley, Colorado. Committee members present were Don Rosenbrock, Doug Dill, Dan Kammerzell and Everett Kissler. Ralph Anders was absent.

Staff members present were Randy Ray, Executive Director; Billy Mihelich, District Engineer; Evan McCurnin, Water Resource Analyst; and Lynn Kramer, Contracts Manager.

Chairman Rosenbrock asked for nominations for the 2025 CCWCD Committee Chairman.

MOVE TO APPOINT DOUG DILL AS CHAIRMAN AND DAN KAMMERZELL AS CO-CHAIRMAN OF THE CCWCD COMMITTEE.

Randy Ray presented a memorandum regarding guidelines for permanent transfers and the history of the policy. Discussion followed.

Randy gave an update on the Walker Recharge project construction and budget.

The lease for five shares Farmers Independent Ditch is listed on our website.

Randy updated the committee on the pending real estate transactions discussed at the January Board meeting.

Evan McCurnin presented a request from Holcim DPG for a lease.

Randy described House Bill 25-1099 concerning STANDARDS FOR THE DETERMINATION OF A TOTAL MAXIMUM DAILY LOAD FOR STATE WATERS.

Tammy Rusch gave a presentation on the Children’s Museum of Northern Colorado. Tammy also discussed the exhibit at the Stock Show, an update on the Children’s Water Festival and the Confluence Institute.

The meeting was adjourned by the chairman at 1:55 P.M.
